I received this one from the lovely S.A. Tawks and I really enjoyed it! This book definitely features some unique and quirky story lines. Tawks manages to pack quite a lot into a few short pages, making it a fast paced and intriguing read.

Emily is on the hunt for a new job when she finally hears back about an interview for a courier position. Little does she know, the job isn’t exactly as described. Upon arriving for the interview, Emily meets John Crawford and embarks on a magical adventure extracting and bottling the spirit of imagination from book pages.

This book had me hooked from beginning to finish, it is definitely full of suspense and will capture the heart of any book lover! Although there were a couple of typos in this novel, the story lines definitely make up for it. Tawks has crafted a creative and refreshing piece.

I recommend this to every bookworm, it is sure to capture your heart and imagination!

Premise Ideas for good books come from "physically squeezing ideas out of books, turning them to liquid, bottling and drinking them"
This was a fun read! The idea of the Spirit was really interesting, and the plot moved nicely. I’d recommend this book for middle school age and older.
After desperately searching for a job, Emily Rainn had finally received a call for an interview from the bestseller author John Crawford. He offered her a job she couldn’t imagine doing. John Crawford, with the help of his butler, collected spirit of imagination from books. They juiced the spirit out of the books and when consumed one can be very creative and imaginative. Her job was to consume this spirit and write a best selling book, one thing she didn’t know is that there were others wanting this spirit and that’s where her adventure begins... .
The idea behind this book is very interesting. I liked the story even if there are some small parts that I would change but all in all it kept me interested in what’s going on and what’s going to happen.. The writing is very fast paced and if not because I have a busy life with 2 small kids, I would have finished it within a day or 2.. I gave this book a 3/5 stars ✨

I give The Spirit of Imagination 5 stars. I found the story to be completely original and new. I had a feeling of wonder that made me think of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I look forward to reading the rest of the series and finding out more about the rest of the spirits! Also, there’s very little violence, no sex or cussing! I definitely recommend this book!
